Al-Khor claim QFA futsal Cup Title
DOHA, 27 May, 2011 – Al-Khor sport club were confidently crowned champions of QFA futsal Cup 2010-2011 after beating rivals Al-Rayyan 2-4 in penalty shout-out in a crucial match held at Al-Arabi SC indoor on Thursday.
Al-Khor SC cruised their way to the final round after three - consecutive wins over Al-Ahli, Qatar and Al-Arabi , meanwhile Al-Rayyan booked place in the final stage after they defeated Al-Gharaffa, Al-Ahli and Al-Shamal.
Al-Khor Club’s Treasurer, Saad Al-Mohannadi was delighted by the team performance in all QFA futsal Cup competition, saying that the achievement came as an outcome of the cooperative spirit between the Club board , technical staff and the players.
